37th Antipodes Festival

The 37th staging of Melbourne’s Antipodes Festival is taking over the historic Lonsdale Street Greek Precinct Melbourne promising a weekend full of Greek culture, cuisine, and entertainment. One of Australia's largest street party’s, the iconic Greek festival this will pitch its tent in the historic Greek Precinct on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 February, 2025.

With over 70 hours of live entertainment across three stages, the festival will feature a stellar lineup of music, dance, and cultural performances. Headlining this year’s Saturday night program is acclaimed Greek songstress Rena Morfi who brings her contemporary sound to the festival’s Main Stage. Sunday night’s Main Stage feature and back by popular demand, is the eclectic and electric Xylourides who will ply their considerable and much adored talents direct from the Mountains of Crete.

Back by popular demand, the festival’s Cooking Demonstrations pair some of Melbourne’s great proponents of Greek cuisine with live demonstrations of their exceptional talents. Watch top chefs including Bahari principal Phil Vakos (pictured)  prepare classic Greek dishes, offering tips and secrets to elevate your cooking at home.

The ‘kefi’ doesn’t end at 11PM on festival Saturday night as the party continues in relative silence at the Golden Square Carpark in the inaugural SILNET ΔISCO kicks into gear.

Full licensed and featuring tines being spun by some of Melbourne’s leading Greek DJ’s, book a ticket, grab some headphones and dance the night away!
