DOGS OF DEMOCRACY + Q&A WITH DIRECTOR MARY ZOURNAZI
Greek-Australian filmmaker Mary Zournazi gets a dogs-eye view of modern Greece still emerging from the grip of a crisis in DOGS OF DEMOCRACY. Arriving in Athens for the first time, Zournazi finds a city in chaos where riots and teargas were becoming part of the everyday. But, among it all, there was one constant that showed the true heart of its people – the dogs.
Mary Zournazi will attend screenings of the documentary in Melbourne and Canberra this weekend to introduce the film and host a Q&A session with the audience.
For your chance to win tickets to the Melbourne screening this Saturday 21 October at Palace Cinema Como, email film@greekcentre.com.au with 'Dogs of Democracy' in the subject line.
