Projects requiring support

You donation can help many of our cultural programs listed below with particular attention being sought for:

The Andrianakos Cultural Centre in Prahran

The hall next to St Demetrious Church on High Street in Prahran will be transformed into The Nikolaos Andrianakos Cultural Centre. We're planning on adding retractable seating, add a stage, fix the roof and upgrade the facilities into a multipurpose space. When complete this space will be able to be used in many different ways and support a variety of community groups.

Gallery at The Greek Centre

We're raising funds for the fitout of a gallery space on Russell Street and to develop a seeding fund to help commission artists and new works.  Our vision is to create a space where we can host emerging artists, curate exhibitions and host events, talks and workshops with a focus on fine art.

Antipodes Festival

As the festival grows, we're always looking for our community support to help us deliver the southern hemisphere's biggest celebration of Greek culture. Since 1987 the festival has grown from a weekend event to a major festival acknowledged all over the world. We'd like to make 2027 festival even bigger and better and need your support to get there.

Greek Film Festival

The Greek Film Festival will turn 31 this year. We plan to expand to more screens, in cinemas across more suburbs, so we can share and showcase the art of Greek storytelling across all of Melbourne. A little support goes a long way.
