EXHIBITION: THE JEWS OF GREECE |

In conjunction with The Jews of Greece exhibition, the Jewish Museum of Australia and JIFF present the eye-opening documentary Following Shira's Journey: A Greek-Jewish Odyssey (which first premiered at the Greek Centre in 2014) at Classic Cinema Elsternwick tonight. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Carol Gordon and kicks off a series of films that explore the lives of the Jews from Greece. Click here to purchase tickets. Self-defence training comes to The Greek Centre with a number of small-group sessions designed to arm students with the necessary skills should they find themselves in unfortunate situations. The training engages participants in realistic scenarios aiming to enhance the skills required during unforeseen violent encounters.
