In what was an outstanding outcome for the GCM Language and Culture School, students recorded excellent results in the VCE Modern Greek placing the the program as the number one performing program in the state for the second year in a row.

Behrouz Boochani returns to the Greek Centre

A diverse cast of Melbournian’s flocked to the Greek Centre to see this year’s guest speakers at the Annual John Berger Lecture, Behrouz Boochani and Hoda Afshar. The last time the GCM hosted Boochani, he was still imprisoned in one of Australia’s offshore migrant detention centres.
