"This is one of the few occasions in my life that I am honoured by the greek community, and only in Melbourne and your organisation could this be achieved. Thanks so much for the plaque and tonight!” said Mark.

The Greek Community of Melbourne hosted a significant Youth Forum on Tuesday night that was organised by two passionate young Greek Australians Dean Kotsianis and Vasilios Berbatakis. The key segments discussed were battling Stigmas, ensuring continuity, connecting inter-generationally and creatively enacting change.

THE METROPOLITAN OF NZ VISITS THE GREEK COMMUNITY

THE GREEK HISTORY AND CULTURE SEMINARS

The Greek History and Culture Seminars offered by the Greek Community of Melbourne enter their tenth year. This year the Seminars will begin on Thursday, March 5, at 7pm at the Greek Center. The first lecture will be given by Professor Tim Parkin from the University of Melbourne. His topic will be the Colossus of Rhodes.
