CHANGE OF THE GUARD AT THE GCM GREEK LANGUAGE SCHOOLS

Maria Bakalidou replaces Manos Tzimpragos as a principal and education officer of the GCM Greek Language School. Bakalidou will take over the role in early July and we are hopeful that her energy, passion and enthusiasm for Greek language learning will allow the Community’s programs to continue to prosper in years ahead.

GREECE 21  | 30 OCTOBER: THE INAUGURAL GRECIAN BALL

In the Bicentenary year celebrating the Greek War of Independence, the Greek Community
of Melbourne and the Greek National Day Council of Victoria in association with the Greek
Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia present a marquee event at the Grand Hyatt Ballroom,
the Inaugural Grecian Ball. Promising an unforgettable evening of entertainment in one of Melbourne’s premier event settings, the Grecian Ball will bring together the ‘who’s who’ of Melbourne’s prominent Greek community on Saturday 30 October.
