High level of interest in the cultural camp program

The GCM recently announced that it would be supporting the resumption of Greek Cultural camps for Greek Australian Youth and it was met with a barrage of interest. The program, which is part-funded by the GCM and partly by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will provide a unique opportunity for young Australians to immerse themselves in the Greek language, culture, and cuisine. Included in the 12-day program are museum tours and visits to archaeological sites, including Vergina and Nymfeo.

Family Fun at Melbourne Museum

The GCM set up camp at the Melbourne Museum recently in support of the Open Horizons exhibition from the Archaeological Museum fo Athens.  Thousands of people attended the Exhibition and also enjoyed live music and food in a program curated by the GCM that also featured workshops, patrolling Hoplites and dancing. The exhibition continues through and should not be missed.
