Περίληψη

Η ομιλία μου θα επικεντρωθεί στο γιατί και πώς μπορούμε να βαδίσουμε σε μια πραγματικά πολυπολιτισμική λογοτεχνία στην Αυστραλία. Θα πάρω ως αρχή το γεγονός ότι ο Τσαλουμάς ήταν βασικά αυτός που άνοιξε το δρόμο σε μη Αγγλοαυστραλούς λογοτέχνες να ακουστούν στο ευρύτερο αυστραλιανό κοινό και θα έρθω στις δικές μας μέρες και θα βασισθώ στη δική μας εμπειρία, που έξι Ελληνοαυστραλοί λογοτέχνες έχουμε έρθει μαζί, μέσα από το project KalliopeX, αλλά και μέσα από ευρύτερες συνεργασίες στον λογοτεχνικό χώρο προσπαθώντας να προωθήσουμε μια λογοτεχνία έξω από τα όρια και έξω από τα όσα έχουν συνηθιστεί έως τώρα, τόσο στην λεγόμενη ελληνοαυστραλιανή λογοτεχνία όσο και στον γενικότερο χώρο. Οπωσδήποτε μνεία θα γίνει και στην λογτεχνια των ιθαγενών αυτής της χώρας.

Synopsis

Μy talk will focus on why and how we can move towards a truly multicultural literature in Australia. I will take as a starting point the fact that Tsalοumas was basically the one who opened the way for non-Anglo Australian writers to be heard by the wider Australian public and I will come to our own days and draw on our own experience that six Greek-Australian writers have come together, through the KalliopeX project, but also through wider collaborations in the literary field, trying to promote a literature outside the limits and outside of what has been common until now, both in the so-called Greek-Australian literature and in general space. In any case, mention will also be made in the literature of the natives of this country.

Ο Δημήτρης Τρωαδίτης εργάζεται στα ελληνοαυστραλιανά ΜΜΕ. Ποιήματά του έχουν δημοσιευθεί εκτενώς κυρίως στην Ελλάδα σε πολυάριθμα λογοτεχνικά περιοδικά, ιστοσελίδες, ιστολόγια και ανθολογίες. Για περισσότερο από δέκα χρόνια οργάνωνε αναγνώσεις ποίησης στη Μελβούρνη. Έχει εκδώσει 10 ποιητικές συλλογές με τις πιο πρόσφατες «Με μια εμμονή στην κωλότσεπη» και «Σύμπραξη Χρόνου» (με τον Χρήστο Νιάρο) και οι δύο από τις Εκδόσεις Στοχαστής, 2020 και 2021. Bio

Dimitri Troaditis is working in the Greek-Australian media. He is been extensively published mostly in Greece in numerous literary journals, websites, blogs and anthologies. For more than ten years he was organising poetry readings in Melbourne. He has published 10 poetry collections with the most recents «Με μια εμμονή στην κωλότσεπη» and «Σύμπραξη Χρόνου» (with Christos Niaros) - both from Stohastis Editions, 2020 and 2021). He has also published two social history books. He runs the poetry website«To Koskino» at http://tokoskino.me
