LIVE AT THE GREEK: OMADOS

The 22 July event will see Omados hit the stage, featuring Joseph Tsombanopoulos (gaida, aggeio, kaval, lyra & vocals), George Athanasakos (clarinet, outi & vocals), Katerina Stevens (violin) and Paddy Montgomery (laouto & vocals).

Omados, the personification of battle noise, plays regional dance music from many regions of Greece, including Thrace, Macedonia, Epirus, Peloponnese, Crete and Ikaria. Utilising a range of local instruments, the members of the band take pride in representing the authentic music of regional Greece.

LIVE AT THE GREEK: THE HABIBIS

The 5 August event will see ARIA Award winners The Habibis hit the stage to perform exquisite traditional music from Greece, Anatolia, The Balkans and the Eastern Mediterranean. Featuring Irine Vela (laouto, bouzouki, guitar), Pascal Latra (vocals, baglama, percussion) and Mulaim Vela (guitar).
