NK: A Kazantzakian Montage, is an exploration of the life and work of Crete’s most famous writer, poet and philosopher, Nikos Kazantzakis. Through excursions and dreams, we witness the influences that have shaped him; as a writer, a poet, a man. We accompany him as he struggles to resolve the conflict between the spirit and flesh to establish harmony within the citadel of his mind as he travels towards the ultimate ascension. Performed in the style of traditional Greek theatre, NK: A Kazantzakian montage is an immersive spectacular merging the ancient with modern, featuring breathtaking light, sound, physical theatre and Alex Tsitsopoulos as Nikos Kazantzakis. Soon to appear in Neighbours and Underbelly Files: Chopper, Alex is an Australian stage and screen actor known for Hyde & Seek (2016), Gallipoli (2015) and Fat Tony & Co (2014).
