Σύνοψη
Στην Ελλάδα –όπως πολλοί θα έλεγαν και στην Ευρώπη γενικότερα- η παρούσα κρίση δεν είναι μόνο δημοσιονομική.
Είναι και κρίση αντιπροσώπευσης. Και οφείλεται σε μεγάλο βαθμό στο ότι κλονίσθηκε η αξιοπιστία του πολιτικού συστήματος. Σε αυτό συνέτεινε η ευρύτατα διαδεδομένη πεποίθηση του λαού μας ότι οι Έλληνες πολιτικοί δεν λογοδοτούν για τις πράξεις και παραλείψεις τους.
Με αναφορές σε μερικά ζητήματα ταμπού, όπως ο σταυρός προτίμησης, η ασυλία των βουλευτών και ο νόμος περί ευθύνης υπουργών, θα εξετασθεί αν η πεποίθηση αυτή είναι ακριβής ή όχι.
In Greece and as many would say in Europe in general, the current crisis is not just fiscal. It is also a crisis of representation. And it is largely due to the deterioration of the credibility of the political system.
In this contributed the widespread conviction of the Greek people that the Greek politicians are not accountable for their actions. With references to some taboo issues, such as the cross of preference, the immunity of the parliamentarians, and the Act on Ministers' Responsibility, it will be discussed during the lecture whether this belief is accurate or not.
