The Greek Centre is hosting Comedy at the Greek with 28 shows featuring international comedians as part of the world-famous Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
If you’re not sure what to see, we have a special 2 for 1 promotion for Greek Community members to the Wednesday Night Showcase, which features a lineup of Festival comedians each doing 5 minutes of their festival show.
The Showcase will play each Wednesday (2, 9 and 16 April) through the Festival at the Greek Centre (168 Lonsdale Street Melbourne).

In this presentation will first outline the key characteristics of settlement distribution and population patterns in the Peloponnese during this period.Moreover, it will briefly examine specific issues such as the impact of military conflicts on settlements and population mobility—both Christian and Muslim—the fundamental features of the rural economy (including agriculture and livestock farming) during the turbulent years of the war, and the significance of studying the etymological origins of place names prior to the renaming process carried out by the Greek state following its establishment.

Teachers, parents, and students gathered to pay tribute to this important national day through parades, wreath laying, and beautiful school celebrations.
