Due to popular demand a third cinema has opened at Palace Cinema Como for our Opening Night celebration screening: the Australian premiere of Tassos Boulmetis' inspirational docudrama 1968. Open lecture: Theatre - A forty year journey
Greek Centre 10 October 2019 7pm Actor and director Stathis Grapsas will share his life changing experience in the theatre, in a special seminar. Starting from the Melbourne Greek Community Children’s Theatre group in 1979 (the UNICEF Year of the Child), to the Athens theatre scene and eventually developing his own method – a personal development workshop for prisoners... he has a wealth of knowledge and experience to share.

GASFF at the Greek Centre
Greek Centre 25 October 2019 7.30pm We're celebrating the Greek Australian Short Film Festival 10th Birthday with this special event! The festival has screened over 120 short films with a Greek connection from local and international artists. Winning films include Chris Kezelos' animation "The Maker", Ian Tran's "Olympic Nick: A Donutumenary", Yorgos Angelopoulos' "Goldfish" and Renee Marie Petropoulos' "Tangles and Knots".
