Sunday 11 January saw the kick off of the inaugural Greek Community Cup - a football (soccer) tournament featuring twelve teams with Greek roots playing for trophies and prize money

MODERN GREEK VCE SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM

An intensive and innovative VCE Modern Greek workshop organised by the Greek Community of Melbourne’s Language and Culture Schools. The program is a two-day intensive workshop course that will give students the opportunity for a head start in learning both the material of the course as well as the structure of a VCE exam and the skills required to ace the exam.

CREATIVE DRAMA AND ARTS CENTRE

Aimed to attract children, adolescents and adults who wish to cultivate their theatrical expression, the centre will provide students of a Greek background an avenue to express their feelings, emotions and character via their participation in theatrical experimentation and performances.

GREEK FOR LATE BEGINNERS 10-18yo | ONLINE

An innovative online program for late beginners is being offered by the GCΜ. It is aimed at students aged 10-18 who wish to start learning Greek at a beginner’s level. This course provides students with the opportunity to develop their communication skills in Modern Greek and their knowledge and understanding of the Greek language and culture. Classes will be limited to 10 students. New courses are commencing in early February.
