The election for a new Board of Management of the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne & Victoria was held on Sunday 29 June at Alphington Grammar.

The results of the elections are as follows:

Designed for lovers of Greek language and literature (no academic background needed), this workshop explores Cavafy’s most powerful poems, with group discussion, critical reading, and fresh insight into the poet’s unique voice and historical lens. Student Film Festival I Palace Cinema Como

The Greek Student Film Festival is returning in 2025, offering students a unique opportunity to use the Greek language creatively and collaboratively, develop confidence, and perhaps even take the first steps toward a future in filmmaking.

This initiative is a collaboration between the Greek Film Festival, the Greek Community of Melbourne, the Education Office of the Consulate General of Greece in Melbourne, the Department of Education and Training, and the Modern Greek Teachers’ Association of Victoria.

All films will be screened at Palace Cinema Como during the final day of the 2025 Greek Film Festival, Sunday 26th of October 2025.
