THE WIFE AND HER HOUSE HUBAND co-presented by the Greek Community of Melbourne !

THE DIRECTOR MARCUS MARJOU IS BACK WITH HIS NEW FILM!
Ten years after writing and directing his debut feature film “Papadopoulos & Sons”, the visionary Marcus Markou is back with another indie movie, “The Wife and Her House Husband”, winner for Best Feature Film at the British Urban Film Festival 2022.

This film is set to grace the screens at the 2023 British Film Festival, and it's proudly co-presented by the Greek Community of Melbourne (GCM).

As Cassie and Matthew come to the end of a divorce, a letter from their past selves surfaces suggesting guidance in the "event of separation". They agree to do the first thing on the list, only to find themselves drawn back together.

An impressive piece of filmmaking, the sparse shooting aesthetic allows the raw emotion of the narrative to be the primary focus. Showcasing an honest, tender script navigating the highs and lows of married life, Marcus Markou crafts an engrossing and engaging drama fuelled by solid central performances.

Don't miss out the Q&A session with the director on Wednesday, 15th November at 7:00pm at Palace Cinema Como.
